Château Malartic Lagravière 2022 – Pessac-Léognan, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is expressive, gourmand a little sweet, toasted and honeyed. It expresses notes of toasted, even caramelized hazelnut, vanilla, caramelized almond (but quite balanced, without adding sweetness). The fruits on the nose are ripe and gourmand (orange, yellow peach, apricot, passion fruit, pineapple), we also find aromas of citrus jam (candied lemon, candied lemon, lime and grapefruit peels), sweet white flowers (apple blossom, acacia, honeysuckle), the smokiness and bitterness side of bergamot and grapefruit. The palate expresses the dominance of fruity flavors, fresh citrus fruits, citrus jam on the attack, candied peels in the mid-palate (lemon, lime and grapefruit). Then we find notes of fresh hazelnut and toasted hazelnut, sweet flowers (apple blossom, acacia, honeysuckle) and vanilla. Beautiful aromatic, expression and balance, a beautiful salivating acidity.
