Château Malartic Lagravière 2020 – Pessac-Léognan – Grand Cru Classé de Graves (white)

The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, gourmandize, a good definition, a certain power as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of lemon, fleshy apple, small bright fruits, small notes of toasted oak associated with small touches of lychee, juicy/fresh mirabelle, hints of almond as well as fine hints of vanilla, a discreet hint of nearly fresh butter. The mouth is fruity, balanced, finely tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a small gourmandize, tension, precision, dynamism as well as a certain concentration (all in control/justness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of  juicy lemon, fleshy/juicy vine peach, small notes of toasted oak associated with touches of kumquat, juicy/fresh mirabelle, fine hints of mandarin zests as well as a discreet hint of carambola, a very discreet hints of acacia and toasted almond. Good length. Presence of a very fine firmness in the finish/persistence.
