The nose is mineral, racy, finelly chiseled and offers a pretty elegance and subtle delicacy. It reveals notes of bright boysenberry, bright purple plum and slight notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of pepper, liquorice, fresh blond tobacco and almost a discreet hint of eucalyptus. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh and offers aromatic purity, depth, freshness and energy. The press wines, despite a surely small quantity, bring a lot to the wine. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy cherry, juicy raspberry and slight notes of juicy/fresh violet plum associated with a touch of bright blackcurrant, slight hints of tonka bean, blond tobacco, graphite, a saline gravelly hint as well as a subtle hint of good bitterness (in the background), black tea (in the background) and lily. Good length. The tannins are supple and elegant.
