The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, a good definition, a small tension, a certain straightness, a slightly tight grain, a slightly tight tannic frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet, bright Boysen berry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small red berries, zan, liquorice as well as hints of camphor, tobacco, grilled almond, a subtle hint of roasted and black pepper. Good length. A fine softness in the finish/persistence. Tannins are discreetly dry.
