100% Merlot (two years in oak 100% new). A fine wine, soft. The nose is powerful and expresses notes of red fruits (strawberry in particular), mushroom and some hints of spice and chocolate. The mouth is not sur-wooded despite aging. The tannins are, however, well done. It reveals fruity (strawberry, blackcurrant) and undergrowth. A wine that I think needs to be decanted / oxygen. Notes of strawberry after oxygenation.
