Château Majoureau – Cuvée Hyppos 2016 – Côtes de Bordeaux Saint-Macaire

The nose is fruity and offers a fine unctuosity and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of brugnon in syrup, nutmeg and pineapple in syrup combined with touches of crystallized lemon / tangerine as well as an imperceptible hint of white flowers and vanilla / almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers freshness, straightness / precision, richness, acidity, juiciness and gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of candied lemon and pineapple in syrup combined with a touch of kumquat, orange, wood, spices as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and vanilla. Good length.
