The nose reveals a fine power and a certain concentration. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, wild strawberry and, more slightly, lilac and lily, combined with hints of liquorice, morello cherry and fine touches of camphor, zan and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is fresh and offers minerality, good definition, juiciness/freshness, pulpy/fresh fruit, generosity, and fine verticality. On the palate this wine has bright boysenberry, purple plum and slightly crushed strawberry/juicy notes with hints of blueberry, vanilla and fine toastiness. The tannins are mellow. A fine hint of vanilla in the background and a delicate touch of coffee on the finish.
