The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic, gourmand, spicy and fruity. It expresses notes of smoke, toast, chocolate (in the background), liquorice, nutmeg and cumin, which are then complemented by notes of morello cherry, red cherry (with a touch of macerated red cherry), strawberry, raspberry, a hint of blueberry, as well as a racy minerality, which can be felt after aeration (limestone, an earthy touch) and dried mint. The palate is chiseled, slightly bitter on the attack, with tannins of a fine texture, but a little rough. It expresses flavors of morello cherry, sour red cherry, bird cherry, blueberry, strawberry and crushed raspberry, associated with notes of dried mint, smoke, liquorice, toasted almond and nutmeg; with a touch of dried rose in the background. The finish is quite persistent, gourmand, with notes of juicy morello cherry and tangy red cherry. Beautiful fresh and tangy structure on the persistence.
