Château Maïme – Origine 2013 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity / concentration and a fine minerality. It reveals notes of wild strawberries, crushed redcurrants and wild blackberries combined with fine notes of flowers, garrigue, Sichuan / gray pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of colas (in the background). The palate is nicely fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice juiciness, suavity, a fine minerality as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed redcurrant, wild strawberries and fine notes of blackberry / plum combined with a touch of cherry, liquorice/colas as well as very discreet hints of spice. Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence. The finish is slightly intense/juicy.
