Syrah, Grenache
The wine shows a bright, youthful ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is slightly reductive, the wine will benefit from decanting and bottle ageing. It opens up with nuances of blackberries and black currants, delicate nuances of black pepper and garrigue, a touch of tonka beans. The palate is juicy, very powerful and very young, with bold, astringent tannins that stick to the gums, refreshing acidity and intense fruit concentration. The wine opens up with exuberant notes of black plums, bramble and prunes, supported by pungent spices. Youthful and still astringent character, needs time to settle.
