The nose is powerful, aromatic and offers a fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and fine notes of cherry, blue fruits combined with a discreet hint of liquorice and a discreet touch of garrigue and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, fat, a fine acidity, a good structure, freshness and power. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe cherry, ripe/juicy blackberry and cassis associated with a touch of garrigue, small wild berries, olive, small touches of wood, spices as well as a(very) slight hint of cocoa and salinity on the finish. Tannins are well-built and structuring. Good length.
