On the nose it is fruity and it offers, dense concentration, tight grain and certain complexity. It reveals the notes of small red currants, cornflower and more lightly bright purple plum combined with a touch of lily, iris as well as discreet hints of grey pepper, raspberry and sweet spice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a nice fleshy fruit, density, tight grain, energetic and some tension. On the palate, notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly small red currants combined with touches of bright blue plum, licorice, lilac/cornflower as well as a discreet hint of toast, vanilla and chocolate. The tannins are smooth and precise. Good length. A lingering persistence of mocha notes.
