The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, an acidulous frame, density, concentration, fullness, power as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy red berries associated with fine touches of violet, iris, subtle hints of sweet spices (in the background) as well as a discreet hint of mild tobacco and fine hints of toasted almond on the finish. Good length.
