The nose is concentrated and offers intensity, structure as well as freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with a hint of blue fruits, tea, blueberry as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, licorice stick and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a mineral frame, gourmandise as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed blue berries associated with touches of fleshy/crushed raspberry as well as a slight hint of flowers, liquorice stick, chocolate, cardamom, caramelization and hazelnut. Tannins are well-built, structuring and very slightly firm. A slight firmness on the finish.
