The nose is fruity (fleshy fruit) and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of red berries and a hint of fleshy / juicy Quetsche plum associated with a hint of cornflower, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of vanilla and chocolate. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, finely racy and offers freshness, a good tension, a good straightness, a nice “guideline”, a nice fat, a good definition, dynamism, a fine concentration and a fine juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry, ripe / fresh strawberry, ripe / fresh plum and slight notes of fresh red berries combined with hints of toasted oak, a very discreet hint of caramelisation and hint of vanilla. Tannins are fine, tight, straight and very slightly dry. Good length. There is a slight touch of dark chocolate / mocha, coffee and a slight hint of salinity on the persistence. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
