The nose is tight and concentrated. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, ripe wild berries and more slightly of Sichuan pepper combined with fine nuances of liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, minerality, good definition, fine fat and a certain gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed currant and slightly cherry notes combined with hints of liquorice, fresh violet and a touch of clove and tea.
