The nose is aromatic, fresh, slightly tight and offers concentration. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe cassis and slight notes of fresh/ripe blackberry associated with a hint of flowers (violet…) as well as a discreet woody hint and espresso. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a nice definition, a very slight unctuosity, suavity, fat, a nice tension, a certain density as well as a nice acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and fresh/ripe small red berries associated with a hint of raspberry as well as a very discreet hint of coffee. Tannins are fine and well-built. There is a very slight hint of cacao/bitterness of dark chocolate on the finish.
