The nose is elegant, precise, airy and offers a lovely finesse of grain. We find notes of boysenberry, fresh wild cassis and morello cherry associated with touches of small roasted-elegant red berries, fresh tobacco, nutmeg and a discreet hint of cinnamon stick. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and nicely pulpy, offering fatness, fruit brightness, a tangy frame as well as gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, brilliant raspberry and, more lightly, crushed strawberry, combined with touches of small roasted-elegant red fruits, rhubarb, as well as fine hints of lily, racy gravel/flint, flint, a hint of Timut pepper, a subtle, almost chocolatey hint and vanilla. Lovely airy creaminess.
