Château Lynch-Bages 2022 – Pauillac Grand Cru Classé

A lovely fresh, elegant, delicate, flowery, dense, deep nose, without austerity while retaining a touch of darkness (just enough), a beautiful purity and a touch of graphite. It expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – violet associated with beautiful racy gravelly notes, small dense/juicy black fruits, pulpy raspberry, flowers (cornflower, violet, cherry blossoms) as well as points of fresh pepper and a subtle hint of graphite and clove. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers minerality, elegance, balance, a lovely tangy structure, minerality, tension, subtlety, accuracy, a lovely airy side, density in minerality and elegance, a lovely finesse in its grain. The palate expresses hints of toasted/crushed almond, suppleness, minerality and elegance, a dark side, notes of graphite as well as a subtle hint of cornflower.
