A nice fresh nose, which offers intensity and concentration. It expresses notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, fairly ripe small red fruits and more slightly – star anise associated with small touches of bergamot/black tea, fresh black pepper as well as a fine hint of roast and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is fresh, mineral, and offers a lot of freshness, roundness, fat. It expresses notes of fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh raspberry and more slightly – small, fairly ripe but fresh red fruits, associated with touches of chocolate, coffee, graphite/cardamom as well as a hint of toasted almond. The tannins are precise and supple. A fine flavor and a lovely freshness with a fine softness.
