The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine concentration. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, wild dark berries with hints of strawberry, pepper, spice and a subtle hint of salt. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, minerality, fine concentration, fine blackness, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and a certain elegance of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses juicy blackberry, juicy/ripe blackcurrant and more lightly violet notes combined with hints of strawberry as well as fine tips of lily, pepper, a discreet hint of serenity and nutmeg. Good length. The tannins are smooth and well-managed.
