Château Louis 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, aromatic, racy and offers a certain concentration as well as a nice definition. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, wild raspberry and slightly violet associated with touches of small pulpy blue currants, hints of pepper as well as a fine hint of camphor, cocoa and an imperceptible hint almost saffron (floral) in the background. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, freshness, good definition, roundness, a certain richness / density as well as a little airy side in its approach. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of tangy / creamy cassis, cornflower, chocolate as well as fine hints of caramelization and a subtle hint. toasted almond. Tannins are smooth. Good length. A nice stretched side on the finish / persistence.
