Chateau Liversan 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is aromatic and offers a very fine richness and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crushed wild blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of lily, tonka bean, cardamom as well as hints of crunchy raspberry, a racy minerality, tea and cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fresh, mineral and offers a fine tension, a small freshness, juiciness and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, acidulous raspberry, small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of iris, lily as well as subtle hints of camphor and chocolate. Tannins are slightly dry. A subtle hint of ripe almond on the finish.
