It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy wild cassis, small wild black berries, small notes of strawberry associated with a touch of griotte, blackberry, violet as well as fine hints of zan, a subtle hint of racy minerality and black tea. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, juiciness, a certain tension, a small straightness, an acidulous frame, a small fluid character. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh/acidulous cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of fresh/acidulous raspberry associated with touches of a racy minerality, fresh violet as well as hints of nutmeg, toasted hazelnut, a subtle hint of tobacco and black tea. Tannins are finely powdered and very discreetly tight. A varietal bitter hint (good bitterness) in the finish (brings length).
