Château Lilian Ladouys 2023 – Saint-Estèphe

A lovely fresh, cocoa-fresh nose, with a textured side. It expresses notes of blueberry, bright raspberry and more slightly – small blue fruits associated with touches of crushed strawberry, as well as hints of blueberry, cardamom and a subtle hint of infusion. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a tangy and mineral frame, a nice work on the good bitters / cocoa, silkiness, delicacy, suavity. It expresses notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, pulpy / fresh blue plum and more slightly – bright raspberry, associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, racy / gravelly minerality, as well as hints of toast, cocoa, infusion and vanilla. Nice work on the good bitters. Sapidity. Nice elegance and delicacy. Persistence. A stretched side.
