The nose is fruity, complex and offers deepness. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of quenette, fresh sage and small notes of pulpy nectarine associated with touches of fresh physalis as well as almost rosemary flowers and discreet saline/iodine hints. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, tension, a good definition, precision, a beautiful iodine side, delicacy and a certain racy power. Deepness and an almost gravelly side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed white peach, quenette, and small notes of lychee associated with touches of crushed physalis as well as a subtle hint of almost fresh mango, discreet hints of wild fennel, sage as well as an almost fresh arbutus fruits and an almost aniseed hint. Nice iodine/marine side. Good length. Beautiful roundness and finesse from the bâtonnage. Good persistence. Iodized, sapid, saline and marked by its biotop.
