Château l’Evangile 2023 – Pomerol

Château l’Evangile 2023 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, gourmand, fresh, precise and offers a nice little softness as well as a three-dimensional / multi-layered side. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of small roasted-juicy red fruits, hints of blond tobacco as well as a subtle hint of vanilla, mocha, a hint of graphite and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, accuracy, a tangy frame, gluttony, accuracy, tension, elegant darkness, an infusion side as well as brilliance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy/bright black plum and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of camphor, graphite, toasted/caramelization as well as hints of almost small bright red fruits, a subtle hint of toasted and Bourbon vanilla. Lovely purity and a soft and gourmet mid-palate. A lovely energy and stretched sensation. Presence of an imperceptible hint of almost grilled aromatic herbs in the background.
