Château L’Etoile de Salles 2020 – Lalande-de-Pomerol 

The nose is fruity and it offers gourmandize, a little richness well developed and a fine freshness. It reveals the notes of crushed blackberry, strawberry and slight hint of small fresh fruits associated with the touch of sour cherry, chocolate and tonka beans, a fine hint of toast, fresh hazelnut, a discreet hint of fresh vanilla and sweet spices. The mouth is fruity and well balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame as well as a good definition, a little tension and small concentration. The wine express the notes of blackberry, cassis and wild strawberry associated with violet and chocolate as well as a discreet hint of cardamon, a subtle hint of vanilla. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length.
