Château Lestours Clocher – Les Pénitent 2019 – Vacqueyras

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine intensity, a beautiful juicy/acidulous fruit. It reveals notes of juicy lemon, juicy flat peach, small notes of juicy mandarine associated with fine touches of seed, fresh/juicy pineapple and an imperceptible almost iodine hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good freshness, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as tension, minerality, a very fine suavity, a fine fat and a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy/juicy peach, juicy apple, small notes of lemon, juicy/acidulous kumquat associated with small touches of mandarine mesocarp, fresh/crunchy pineapple as well as a subtle hint of quenette, small crunchy/fresh yellow fruits, a subtle iodine hint and an imperceptible hint of fresh rosemary. Good length and persistence with a discreet hint of nutmeg.
