The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, crushed wild raspberry, small notes of griotte associated with fine touches of blackberry, violet, iris as well as fine hints of liquorice, tonka bean and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, precision as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy, cherry/griotte as well as hints of violet, dark chocolate/mocha, toasted, toasted almond and sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
