The nose is fruity and offers a good maturity. It reveals notes of blackberry and crushed strawberry associated with hints of cherry and subtle toasted hints and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame (racy minerality), a fine acidity (in the background), a beautiful silky matter as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry and raspberry associated with fine touches of small berries, a subtle hint of plum as well as subtle touches of chocolate and a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
