Château L’Escarderie – Amphora 2020 – Fronsac

The nose offers a racy grain. It reveals notes of spices, pepper and a small brick note associated with fine hints of luscious red berries, cherry, blueberry and a discreet hint of fresh flowers / cornflower. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy as well as a fine, tense and slightly tight grain. A fairly present tannic structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blue berries, violet, rose and slight notes of crunchy cherry associated with touches of juicy blackberry as well as a fine hint of licorice stick / eucalyptus, blueberry, saline and with a fine varietal hint.
