The nose is fruity and offers a little creaminess, harmony, a slight power, a certain concentration and intensity. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, small pulpy blue fruits and more slightly – star anise, associated with a touch of cubeb pepper and has a discreet hint of sense of place. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, a certain minerality, freshness, a little tension. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, juicy/pulp raspberry and more slightly – pulpy blueberry associated with touches of star anise, fleshy cherry as well as a hint of bergamot and sweet spices. The tannins are supple and elegant. A fine chew on the finish/persistence. Nice material.
