On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of juicy cassis, combined with touches of bright violet plum, touches of lilac, a fine hint of racy minerality, as well as a fine hint of nutmeg, fresh hazelnut and sap.
