The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and slight lily associated with touches of pulpy purple plum, licorice stick and a hint of lilac. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, good definition, a certain greediness as well as accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy currants and slight hints of juicy/fresh cherry associated with touches of fresh flowers, a hint of crunchy berries as well as slight hints of tonka bean, toast and a discreet hint of vanilla. A subtle saline hint in the background. Good length. Nice work on the good bitters / on the noble varietal note.
