The nose offers fruit, concentration and minerality. It reveals notes of concentrated blackberry, concentrated cassis and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of star anise, a hint of liquorice stick and a subtle almost smoky hint. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame as well as juiciness. A certain unctuosity/matter and a coating side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy black cherry, pulpy/juicy cassis and small notes of crushed small red fruits associated with touches of liquorice stick, sweet blond tobacco and nutmeg. Salinity and a certain gourmandise. Good length. Freshness and juiciness.
