The wine shows an intense ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is slightly shy, needs some air to open up. With aeration revealing nuances of red and black cherries, thorn, black plums and nuances of black currant and fresh tobacco leaf. The palate is juicy, with moderate acidity, chalky, sticky tannins, elegant body and a light bitterness in the echo. The wine is very youthful and fruity, a bit tight and closed, needs some time to settle and integrate the tannins better.
