The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of cherry, blackberry, small notes of ripe cassis associated with very fine hints of violet, zan as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, tension, a good definition as well as gourmandize and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe blackberry, cassis, small notes of small black berries associated with fine touches of violet as well as a hint of tea, zan and cardamom. Good length. Tannins are well-built. Fine hints of ripe almond on the finish. Good persistence.
