The nose is fruity, racy and offers power, gourmandize and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of juicy/fresh cassis, small wild cassis, small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of fleshy/juicy cherry as well as hints of cloves, grey pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small pulpy/crushed red berries as well as hints of violet, zan, cloves and a subtle hint of camphor and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. A very discreet hint of grilled on the persistence.
