The nose shows a fine power. There are notes of wild blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, fleshy wild strawberry, combined with hints of violet, liquorice, fine cardamom, light tobacco and a subtle touch of black tea. The palate is fruity and demonstrates minerality, good definition, juiciness and some suavity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and more slightly blackberry, small black berries, liquorice combined with a hint of morello cherry, black tea and chocolate.
