The palate is airy and discreet at first, with the dominant woody side. It expresses fruity notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry, pine sap, fresh wood, cornflower and liquorice. The tannins are firm, but rather balanced by the acidity. The persistence on the palate is medium, tangy, with a woody finish.
