Château Les Hauts-Conseillants 2019 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness as well as a bright fruit. It reveals notes of bright Boysen berry, small blue fruits, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with very fine touches of liquorice as well as fine hints of camphor, cardamom and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of small red berries associated with touches of raspberry, small blue fruits, cornflower as well as hints of vanilla (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built and finely chewy. Gourmandize in the finish/persistence.
