Château Les Guyonnets – Héritage 2015 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed blackberry and a hint of Sichuan pepper combined with notes of crushed raspberry / strawberry, a subtle hint of violet and a discreet hint of licorice (in the background) and a toasted hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity (in the background), freshness, roundness, a good definition and a certain finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and juicy cassis combined with slight notes of crushed strawberry, crushed redcurrant as well as touches of licorice, cardamon, toasted oak and a subtle hint of coffee. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length.
