The nose is fruity and offers a fine power and a very fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, small wild berries and small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of pepper, nutmeg, violet and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, fat, a small gourmandize as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, wild small black fruits and small notes of wild raspberry associated with a fine touch of violet, cherry as well as very slight hints of spices, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. Tannins are structuring and very slightly firm.
