The nose offers juiciness and concentration, accompanied by a certain freshness. It expresses notes of morello cherry, fresh blackcurrant, strawberry, raspberry and cranberries, a hint of minerality (gravel), as well as fine notes of spices (white pepper, licorice) and flowers (violet). On the palate, the wine is tight and structured. The tannins have a medium grain, and are a little rough. We find flavors of blackcurrant, tangy morello cherry, crunchy strawberry, raspberry and a slight bitterness of cranberries, combined with notes of dried mint, black pepper, licorice and violet. The finish is persistent, with the freshness of juicy black fruits and good acidity. A wine with density and a firm structure.
