The nose is fruity and offers a finely powerful. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe cassis, fresh/ripe blackberry and fine notes of strawberry notes combined with crushed cherry, toasted wood, spices as well as a touch of Sichuan pepper, a discreet hint of minerality and an imperceptible hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice freshness, a nice minerality, a small fat, a nice tension as well as acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis, fresh raspberry and fresh red berries combined with woody hints as well as a discreet hint of graphite, spices and a very discreet hint of cocoa in background. Tannins are very fine and slightly dusty. Good length.
