The nose reveals some intensity, power, a fine grain and some concentration. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, bigarreau cherry and more lightly violet combined with hints of pulpy/very ripe strawberry, lily and a discreet hint of plum, zan and a subtle touch of cardamom. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, juiciness, freshness, good definition, gourmandize, tension, finesse and sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and slightly violet notes combined with hints of pulpy/fresh plum, creamy raspberry, fine camphor, Bourbon vanilla and a hint of liquorice and sweet blond tobacco. A subtle hint of almond in the background. The tannins are soft and mellow.
