Château Les Grandes Murailles 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, racy and offers power and a fine grain/marked by its terroir. It reveals notes of small juicy/ripe small black fruits, wild raspberry, small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of pepper, iris as well as fine hints of incense and grilled. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition as well as suavity, tension, a racy minerality, precision, richness, a fine acidulous frame and a certain finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of juicy raspberry associated with touches of small berries, cornflower, iris as well as hints of racy minerality, mild tobacco, spices, cocoa and a hint of fat. A grilled hint and bitterness in the finish/persistence.
