The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a good definition as well as suavity, tension, a racy minerality, precision, richness, a fine acidulous frame and a certain finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of juicy raspberry associated with touches of small berries, cornflower, iris as well as hints of racy minerality, mild tobacco, spices, cocoa and a hint of fat. A grilled hint and bitterness in the finish/persistence.
