On the nose and offers power as well as intensity in control. It reveals notes of cassis, raspberry and slightly berry fruit associated with touches of pepper, nutmeg as well as fine hints of tobacco and a discreet hint of spices. On the palate is fruity, balanced, a little tight and offers a nice freshness, minerality, some tension, a fine airy side, roundness, a little fat as well as a tangy frame. This wine expresses notes of crushed raspberry, pulpy strawberry and more slightly juicy / fresh cassis associated with fine touches of toasted, toasted hazelnut as well as hints of cocoa, blond tobacco, with a subtle hint sweet spices and a hint of nutmeg. Tannins offer a fine straightness. Good length.
