The nose is spicy, peppery and offers a fine powdery side. It reveals notes of fresh cassis, fresh gray pepper and small varietal notes associated with touches of pulpy/ripe red fruits, fine hints of fresh spices as well as a discreet hint of vanilla and a discreet almost sappy hint. The palate is supple, fruity and offers juiciness, tanginess, minerality, a slight straightness as well as a finely tight tannic structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with varietal touches as well as hints of nutmeg, spices and toasted hints. Tannins are powdery and discreetly drying. Good length. Suppleness, freshness and roundness.
